At Warehouse Services, we believe the way we do business matters as much as the work itself. Integrity, respect and responsibility guide every decision we make: in our warehouses, with our people, with our partners and in the communities we serve.
We believe every person is born with equal rights and dignity, a principle set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We hold ourselves to that standard, and we ask the suppliers and partners we work with to hold themselves and their own supply chains to it as well.
People First
Our people are the heart of our business. We're committed to a workplace where everyone is treated fairly, paid fairly and able to grow to their full potential.
- Work that is freely chosen. Every person who works with us does so by choice. We do not tolerate forced, bonded, indentured or prison labor in any form, and we never charge recruitment fees to the workers we hire.
- Equal opportunity for all. Hiring, pay, promotion and discipline are based on merit, never on gender, race, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, pregnancy, marital status, nationality, political opinion, union affiliation, social or ethnic origin, or any other protected status. We actively encourage an inclusive workplace built on equality.
- Respect, every day. Harassment, intimidation and abuse of any kind, whether verbal, written, physical or sexual, have no place here. Everyone deserves to work free from hostility.
- A voice at work. We respect our employees' rights to free expression, to freedom of association, to collective bargaining, and to take part in political or religious activities.
- Fair pay and reasonable hours. Wages and benefits are paid on time and in full, with access to social security, medical insurance and all legally required benefits. Working hours respect the law, and our people get the rest and holiday pay they're entitled to.
- Protecting young people. We do not use child labor. Any young worker is employed only as local, state and federal laws allow.
Safety Without Compromise
Everyone deserves to go home safe at the end of the day. We invest in the health, safety and wellbeing of our team through ongoing training, emergency preparedness, well-maintained facilities and equipment, and regular monitoring to identify and reduce hazards before they become risks.
Caring for Our Environment
We take our responsibility to the planet seriously. We work to:
- Use natural resources such as water, energy and materials responsibly, and cut waste through reduction, reuse and recycling at all our sites.
- Monitor and treat emissions and discharges so they meet or exceed environmental requirements.
- Handle, transport and dispose of hazardous waste safely and lawfully, working only with qualified, licensed partners.
- Improve energy efficiency, track and reduce our greenhouse gas emissions, and use renewable energy when we can.
Doing Business the Right Way
Trust is earned through honesty. We follow the law in every country where we operate. We never offer, give or accept bribes or improper advantages, and we're accurate and truthful in our dealings with government agencies. We compete fairly. We never collude with competitors on pricing or markets, and we always represent our services honestly.
Our commitment: These principles aren't just policies on paper. They reflect who we are and who we want to be for our employees, our customers and our communities.
